Launched by MovingLab, Déménager Facile is an online platform that allows you to compare all moving offers, and which is aimed at both the general public and the military.

The objective of our mission: to challenge their current digital/media strategy to increase their volume of leads, while lowering the cost per lead, and to best prepare for the deployment of their local campaigns. All only on a single lever: Google Ads.

Our results:

  • 425 leads generated in 2 months
  • An average cost per lead of €29 (average high basket)

Here is, in detail, what we did.

Our Google Ads strategy

1) Account and campaign audit

First, we audited the account and previously launched campaigns, and conducted a competition analysis to find out the position and opportunities of Déménager Facile.

This audit allowed us to detect the optimizations to be made (search terms, keywords and segmentation), the campaigns with great potential and therefore to be optimized, as well as the periods over which an increase in the budget is necessary to achieve performance.

At the same time, so-called “discovery” campaigns have been launched to identify the most effective terms for Déménager Facile.

2) Optimization, creation and launch of campaigns

Following this audit and this “discovery” phase, we optimized the most efficient campaigns, in particular those aimed at the military and the gendarmerie, then launched several acquisition campaigns for the general public on the Research Network.

For the general public target, our strategy was to do one campaign per department with several ad groups per city.

20 departments were selected according to the search volume for these two keywords: “moving” and “moving company”.

For the North Department, for example, we did:

  • 1 North campaign
  • 1 ad group “moving Lille”
  • 1 ad group “moving company Lille”

And so on for several cities in the North Department.

Our results for consumer acquisition campaigns:

  • An average CTR of 2.66%
  • A CTR of up to 6.15% for the most successful ad groups
  • 357 leads generated for an average cost per lead (CPL) of €29
  • Total expenditure: 13 248€

Evolution of the CPL during our support:

A CPL divided by almost 3!

Our results for military and gendarmerie campaigns:

  • 68 leads generated
  • Total expenditure: 2056€

Note that a brand campaign (branding) has also been launched.

Assessment and next steps

In 2021, MovingLab generated 398 leads via its ad campaigns. Thanks to our support, and in just 2 months, we allowed the teams to generate 425 leads, while lowering their cost per lead.
